This has been one busy summer! Besides Todd and I working a lot, he has been on call and layed up for a while (more on that later), I have had several classes and meetings, and we have been running the kids everywhere! We are very lucky though, the kiddos wouldn't be able to be involved in anything if it wasn't for Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Sue. They help get the kids where they are suppose to be (so Thank you all SO SO MUCH!!!) when they are suppose to be there. It all seems to work out, but it's been busy, and I think we are all glad the activities have settled down so that we can get back on normal schedules and get ready for school to start!
To begin the update... the 4th of July! Sue and I took the kids to Willow Springs Garden. They had a variety of activities throughout the day and fireworks in the evening. Best of all, it was free to get in!
There was a petting zoo with farm animals
it was such a beautiful day to spend with these beautiful girls
of course we had to play with the kitties
Amelia, the cat-whisperer

George Washington sighting! We saw Abe Lincoln and his wife Mary, but they were eating lunch, so I didn't take their picture!
